All my students after making their tote bags!
Fabric ranges from Clarke and Clarke, James Hare and Swaffer
I run classes on a weekly basis, Monday and Thursday mornings also on a Wednesday evening.
All classes are in the Taunton area.
Students can work on their own choice of project, from items such as a Roman blind, curtains, cushions, a loose cover or a garment for themselves.
I have sewing machines, an overlocker, irons and ironing boards for students to use at the halls where I teach.
Students are welcome to bring their own machines if they prefer.
The courses run 3 terms per year, usually in ten week terms blocks.
It is essential to book a place.
I also teach various one day workshops at Dillington Educational Centre, at Illminster in Somerset. Web site www.dillington.com
One to one sessions can also be arranged.
Unsure what window furnishings would suit your window?
I am happy to advise on style and colours to compliment your room.
I can make simple sheers to give an elegant light look, lined only curtains, with either cotton lining or blackout if preferred.
Or the opulent style of interlining to give a more sumptuous look, suitable for most types of fabrics and styles.
Please have a look at my gallery for
a range of different styles completed for some of my clients.
Either traditional, period, vintage, modern or a contemporary style, I am able to design a look to suit all tastes.
From swags and tails, Roman blinds, curtains with handmade headings, or simply just gathered on a pencil pleat heading or perhaps with a drop down frill, so much choice!
All quotes are free and without obligation.
